How To Repair A Broken Saddle Tree

Hi. Delight help!A while ago I bought a lovely wee English leather saddle 2d hand. Unfortunately it didn't fit my pony and so I sold information technology on via ebay.

Depends on whether or not information technology is a well known, fairly expensive make. In all other respects information technology'south really really well looked after, no scratches, soft leather, girth straps in splendid condition etc etc. But probably will never compensate the cost of £150+. All the same - if I DID get information technology reflocked & a new tree then information technology would probably fit my pony (main problem was the narrow gullet and lack of good saddler to get agree of) and exist a great wee saddle!

Lamentable you have had this bad luck. If you could get it repaired with a tree which suits your pony that sounds like a skillful solution. I know little about saddle brands. Do the makers still exist? I am bold you would demand them to put in the new tree. You would have spent a bit more but have a expert quality, well cared for saddle which fits. Compared to a brand new 1 information technology would be a bargain I retrieve. Amend to spend a little more and have something useful than throw abroad what you already spent. That is my style of looking at it.

Think it price me approx £300-350 to become my tree replaced few years ago but saddle was worth twice that and then if your saddle is worth less, then just chip it
